Nowadays, many people are trying all sorts of ways to make a name for themselves.
Right now the most common way is by using the internet.
More people are trying to gain fame online each day, they use different ways, and this blog post will touch on the different methods people use to gain fame online.
1. Music
Nowadays as the music scene is expanding and there is a wide range of music genres, many people try to get famous by recording their own music or covers of popular songs and uploading them to popular video and music streaming sites such as YouTube and IMEEM in a hope that a producer might come across their music and offer them a contract.
Here is one such example.

2. Funny Videos / Scriptwriting
Nowadays as stress levels are going up everywhere, many people try to ease the tension by watching comedies and funny videos on YouTube, and many others are trying to show off their scriptwriting and acting skills to the world, this video is done by my church and I have approval from my pastor do use this video, so enjoy!
3. The infamy
There is always a bad side to fame, so far we've been looking at the good side of fame, now we shall cover the bad side, many people like to find fame online by posting videos of fights, or like the recent ragging of the girl from ACS on school campus. Such as this video filmed by my friends and I.
So far these are the most popular ways to gain fame on the internet, and many people have been trying new stuff, such as giving web tutorials and even doing your homework for you for a small fee online. These are just a few examples, and I'm sure that there are many other ways people can get ideas to make a name for themselves online.

I think that people who wants to gain online fame are going for a short-cut.Its quite unfair towards those that doesn't knows how to make use of the media and have to go through rounds and rounds of audition.
ReplyDeleteI think the ways that people use to make themselves famous may also causes a good and a bad side of themselves or internet.
ReplyDeleteFor example of uploading obscene images or videos are definitely not be a good form of ways to become famous online.
This is the most common platform to get identified by people all over the world of one's talents. However, majority of them i realised that they are just doing it for entertainment purposes, for laughter and memories to share to the world. Agree?

I do appreciate the courage of those individuals who upload work of their music or filming though that might be their first time or even if it's not professionally done.The fact that they do want to be famous through performing in different platforms is encouragaing.
ReplyDeleteThat way there is noone to say if they are Right or Wrong because it's originally composed with some help maybe.I would encourage people to go ahead.For who knows someone might actually spot you and groom you to be a famous person in the future?
With new media quickly becoming a popular trend as compared to old media, more people are finding entertainment online.

I feel that entertainment is the main reason that lies behind the creation of most videos online. Online Fame is just something that builds with it.

I do think it takes real courage that people post their video on the internet to show their talents.

things you think you really good at it but in reality you dont. cruel world eh? Therefore People post nasty comment like 'Dont you ever sing again..' rather than comment on encouraging and giving advise to inspire them to do better... Harsh reality..
Its a very common sign for people to try and gain fame by the things they post on the world wide web. There's two sides to fame, true and i agree with that. It depends on the content posted and the message that is portrayed.
